Business Manager, Beauty

Summary

The Business Manager, Beauty drives brand sales and client development for a specific beauty brand while ensuring exceptional customer experience and overseeing the beauty counter team. Reporting to the Client Development Manager, this role creates seasonal sales strategies, leads Advisors to meet daily and monthly targets, and represents brand standards at the counter.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies to achieve vendor sales plans
• Lead and coach Beauty Advisors to meet appointment and sales goals
• Serve as brand expert and uphold brand image and selling ceremonies
• Plan and execute at-counter events with vendor partners
• Use social media to grow personal brand and drive business
• Attend monthly business manager calls and implement resulting strategies
• Utilize SFA clienteling system to build and maintain customer relationships
• Support cross-sell efforts across the beauty department
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferably in a client driven sales environment
• Leadership experience developing direct reports
• Proven client development and consultative selling skills
• Ability to perform product consultations and applications
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Tech savvy with ability to use clienteling systems
• Attention to detail and results oriented mindset
• Ability to set goals and execute strategic plans
