Summary
The Business Planning Sr. Manager for E Commerce leads financial and business planning for the digital commerce channel, using advanced analytics and forecasting to drive growth and profitability. This senior role partners with executive stakeholders to develop annual plans, forecast performance, and implement scalable processes to ensure financial predictability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial planning strategies for the e commerce business aligned with corporate objectives.
- Perform scenario planning, ROI analysis, regression modeling, and benchmarking to optimize online performance.
- Oversee delivery of accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting for executive decision making.
- Evaluate promotional and site interventions to identify risks and opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Reconcile product plans and forecasts with e commerce sales targets and KPIs.
- Drive creation and maintenance of cross functional processes for budgets, forecasts, and weekly business reviews.
- Manage pre season and in season financial forecasts including inventory planning for fulfillment centers and digital channels.
- Define KPIs, analyze performance, and communicate insights to cross functional teams to improve customer experiences.
Requirements
- Proven senior level experience in financial or business planning roles.
- Strong strategic planning skills with expertise in e commerce metrics including sales, gross margin, inventory, and conversion rate.
- Skilled in building analytical tools and models for dynamic forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office with Excel expertise required.
- Experience with enterprise planning systems and e commerce platforms preferred.
- Ability to query databases and synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Exceptional leadership, cross functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
