CAD Designer - Tribeca

As a CAD Designer at David Yurman in Tribeca, you will be responsible for creating jewelry pieces of intermediate to advanced difficulty levels using Rhino software. You will execute designs while adhering to functional and aesthetic objectives, contributing to the creation of timeless and contemporary collections.

• Create intermediate jewelry pieces from start to finish with limited supervision.
• Develop more complex projects and forms with less-detailed direction.
• Create stone settings and ensure proper setup for mechanisms such as clasps and connections.
• Provide input on timelines and translate design concepts into physical pieces within project time frames.
• Review vendor CAD files for visual viability and provide aesthetic feedback.

• Minimum 5-7 years of CAD experience specific to jewelry.
• Proficient in Rhino CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of complex jewelry construction and metal properties.
• Experience with rapid prototyping machines is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret design rendering and engineering documents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
