Cashier

Summary

The Cashier provides a welcoming checkout experience and ensures accurate, secure processing of transactions while maintaining an immaculate cash wrap. This role supports customer service, returns and ship-to-home orders, and helps uphold store standards and visual merchandising. The position may be offered full-time or part-time and serves as an entry point for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions (cash, credit, debit, checks) and manage promotional offers and coupon redemption
• Validate and inspect returned merchandise and execute ship-to-home orders
• Maintain cleanliness of cash wrap and surrounding areas and support visual merchandising standards
• Engage customers with product knowledge, cross-sell and update customer profiles in the POS system

Requirements

• Retail or similar high-volume customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate the register, stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Effective communication skills and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and occasional travel
