PT Cashier

Summary

The Cashier delivers a customer-first checkout experience by processing transactions accurately and maintaining an organized cash wrap. This role supports store operations, merchandising standards, and helps drive sales through professional service and product knowledge. The position may be offered as full-time or part-time based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, professional service
• Process sales transactions including cash, credit, debit, and checks with accuracy
• Validate and inspect returned merchandise and escalate concerns to management
• Manage promotional offers, coupon redemption, and execute Ship to Home orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash wrap and surrounding areas
• Support visual merchandising standards and capture reticket information
• Engage in cross-selling and upselling and maintain customer profiles in the POS

Requirements

• Retail or related customer-service experience preferred
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for extended periods, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs and maneuver around sales floor, stock, and dressing areas
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive customer and team relationships
• Willingness to complete required training and support store hiring and development efforts
