Cashier

Summary

The Cashier creates a welcoming customer experience and delivers a seamless checkout. The role processes transactions accurately, maintains customer information and supports store standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries and support sales through product knowledge, cross-selling and upselling.
• Process purchases, returns, promotions and ship-to-home orders accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain customer profiles, capture salesperson information and handle merchandise professionally.
• Keep the cashwrap and queue area clean, support visual merchandising and follow store procedures.
• Complete training and collaborate with the team to provide a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Retail or similar experience in a high-volume or specialty environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and move for multiple hours, and lift or climb as needed.
• Schedule flexibility for days, evenings, weekends and possible overnight shifts.
