Cashier

Summary

Cashiers create welcoming customer experiences and provide a seamless checkout by processing transactions accurately and maintaining customer information in the point-of-sale system. The role also supports sales, store operations, and a clean, well-presented cashwrap.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries, share product knowledge, and support cross-selling and upselling.
• Process purchases, returns, promotional offers, and ship-to-home orders accurately.
• Maintain customer profiles and accurate transaction records in the POS system.
• Keep the cashwrap and queue area clean, support visual merchandising standards, and complete required training.
• Collaborate with colleagues and uphold store procedures and company values.

Requirements

• Retail or similar experience in a high-volume or specialty environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift or climb as required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
