Client Advisor - Soho

Summary

The Client Advisor at the Soho boutique is responsible for delivering personalized service to meet individual and store sales targets while representing the brand with authenticity and style. This role focuses on building and maintaining a client book, capturing customer information, and maximizing sales through product knowledge and tailored interactions. The advisor also supports store operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and upkeep of the store image.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
• Apply product knowledge to maximize sales, units per transaction, and transaction value
• Capture and enter relevant customer information into the database
• Promote store events via email, phone, and personalized notes
• Maintain and expand a client book and follow up on client needs, shipments, and alterations
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining the store image
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control as requested

Requirements

• Business school, university, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years in a retail setting with a focus on sales, preferably in luxury
• Computer literate and able to learn various retail software programs
• Candidates with established client books strongly preferred
• Service-oriented with a passion for luxury product and an appreciation for design
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; foreign languages a plus
