Client Care Technician - Design District

Summary

The Client Care Technician performs in-store repairs and troubleshooting for damaged luggage, ensuring products meet company standards and servicing client needs. This role inspects returned and new items, executes repairs using hand and power tools, and supports the service and repair department in Miami Design District. The technician also handles inventory records and assists with training and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Inspect used and returned products to determine repair requirements
• Repair or replace defective or worn parts using hand, power, or specialized tools
• Test and adjust repaired products to ensure proper functioning
• Determine cost estimates for labor and materials for repairs
• Inspect new products for manufacturer defects or shipping damage
• Operate computerized inventory and re-ordering systems for the service department
• Assist Head Technician in training technicians and store employees
• Load, unload, move, count, pack, and unpack materials as required; maintain clean work areas
• Ensure safe working conditions in compliance with OSHA regulations

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
• Hands-on experience using small hand tools and power tools; strong manual dexterity
• Ability to perform moderate lifting and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Basic computer literacy for inventory systems and record keeping
