Job Description

Summary

The Client Engagement Manager will lead planning and implementation of retail client development strategies across the West Coast directly operated stores to drive retention, elevation, and acquisition through exceptional relationship management and local market events. This full time role is based in the Los Angeles office with a hybrid schedule and reports to the Director of Client Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute client development plans with store teams to grow and elevate Very Important Clients.
  • Coordinate with CRM, Retail Operations and Events to execute local retail activities and measure ROI.
  • Support planning and execution of major institutional events and act as brand ambassador at events.
  • Manage client gifting and experiences budget including invoicing and budget tracking.
  • Develop partnerships with third parties to drive acquisition and cultivation of VICs.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and analyze client initiatives to maximize engagement KPIs.
  • Produce benchmarking and market research to inform client strategies.
  • Coordinate event logistics and prepare post event recaps and analysis.
  • Train and onboard store teams on clienteling culture and activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct or related experience such as personal shopping, sales or PR.
  • In store retail experience is required.
  • Established relationships with Very Important Clients.
  • Elevated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25 percent.
