Commerce Engineering Lead

Summary

Senior engineering leader to shape enterprise commerce architecture and drive technical excellence across a modern stack including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Next.js and React. Role includes partnering with product and program leadership, representing commerce engineering at executive levels, and mentoring global multidisciplinary teams. Position focuses on API driven composable commerce and scalable secure high performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor global multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Define and evolve scalable secure high performance commerce architecture
• Champion API driven and composable commerce solutions
• Partner closely with Product and Program leadership on enterprise initiatives
• Represent Commerce Engineering at leadership and executive levels
• Drive technical excellence and best practices across the commerce stack
• Oversee adoption of CI CD and modern development workflows

Requirements

• Extensive senior leadership experience in commerce engineering
• Proven background with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or headless commerce architectures
• Hands on familiarity with Next.js React and modern web stacks
• Experience designing scalable secure high performance systems
• Track record mentoring and growing high performing engineering teams
• Ability to collaborate with product program and executive stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of API driven and composable commerce patterns
