Summary

As a Commission Sales Associate in Home you will deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales of home furnishings and accessories at our 59th Street store. This part-time, commission-based role focuses on building client relationships, achieving sales targets, and maintaining floor presentation. You will work closely with the Home team to curate product solutions and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide personalized product recommendations for home furnishings and accessories.
• Meet and exceed individual sales and commission targets through proactive selling and follow-up.
• Build and maintain client relationships and manage leads and appointments.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and up-to-date product knowledge for the Home department.
• Operate POS, process transactions, and assist with exchanges and returns.
• Support inventory replenishment and stock organization on the sales floor.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in home furnishings or a department store environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working on a commission-based pay structure and motivated by sales goals.
• Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods.
