Summary
Lead and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing network to improve safety, quality, productivity, lead time, service, and cost. Serve as a change agent by mentoring associates, applying Lean and Industrial Engineering tools, and driving sustainable process improvements reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate operational improvement programs and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to identify and develop solutions that drive operational performance.
- Mentor and train associates in lean tools to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability.
- Collect and analyze process and performance data to recommend improvements to leadership.
- Supervise product and process improvement projects to ensure on-time completion.
- Develop, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices across sites.
- Audit established lean processes to ensure ongoing adherence and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience implementing operational improvement in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean concepts and tools such as 5S, visual workplace, mistake proofing, PDCA, and standard work.
- Familiarity with industrial engineering tools including time studies, layouts, KPIs, and value added analysis.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and change management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power BI.
- Bilingual English Spanish highly preferred.
