Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and sell prestige cosmetic products at a department store counter. Deliver makeup application, product demonstrations, and tailored recommendations to meet customer needs and sales goals. Support counter visual standards and maintain product inventory to ensure an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide tailored product and makeup recommendations based on skin type and preferences.
• Perform makeup applications, product demonstrations, and sample applications to educate clients.
• Achieve individual and counter sales goals through consultative selling and clienteling.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the counter clean, and ensure product presentation is on brand.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving, restocking, and loss prevention practices.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of cosmetics or beauty retail sales experience preferred.
• Strong selling and customer service skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Proficiency in makeup application and product knowledge with the ability to perform demonstrations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
