Summary

Provide personalized beauty and makeup advice to customers at a cosmetics counter, delivering product recommendations and application services to drive sales and enhance the client experience. Maintain knowledge of product lines and promotions while ensuring merchandising standards and a welcoming environment. Work part time hours including nights and weekends as required by store scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer personalized beauty consultations and makeup applications.
• Recommend products based on skin type tone and client preferences.
• Demonstrate product usage and provide samples when appropriate.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and promote current campaigns and promotions.
• Maintain clean organized and well merchandised counter and displays.
• Process sales transactions and manage point of sale operations accurately.
• Build and maintain client relationships and follow up to encourage repeat business.
• Stay informed on new products trends and brand initiatives.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cosmetics retail or as a beauty advisor preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of makeup application techniques and color matching.
• Ability to work flexible part time schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Professional grooming and presentation standards.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate a point of sale system.
