Summary

The Cosmetics Counter Manager oversees daily operations of the cosmetics counter, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales performance, and managing staff. The manager collaborates with store leadership and brand representatives to meet sales targets and maintain visual presentation. The position is based on-site at the Glendale store location.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach counter staff to deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge
• Drive sales and meet or exceed individual and counter sales targets
• Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure proper merchandising and visual presentation of the counter
• Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment
• Coordinate with brand representatives and store management
• Train new hires and conduct ongoing staff development
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in cosmetics retail or management
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing teams
• Strong product knowledge and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays
• Experience with visual merchandising and inventory control
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform hands on retail tasks
