Summary
The Cruiselines Operations Manager is responsible for driving business performance and program execution for the portfolio onboard cruise lines. This role builds and leverages relationships across cruise beverage and guest experience teams, works with regional marketing to deliver trade and off trade programs, conducts trainings, and represents the company through product and service initiatives. The position is hybrid based in the Miami office with approximately 30% travel primarily on cruise ships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with cruise line trade partners including beverage and F B managers
- Ensure brand visibility presentation staff knowledge and program execution onboard
- Monitor and analyze sell out performance and depletions and implement improvement actions
- Design and manage incentive programs to drive consumer consumption
- Monitor competition at point of sale and report insights to marketing and trade teams
- Act as primary company interface for cruise line matters and represent the brand
- Define organize and conduct trainings for cruise staff on and off trade
- Plan and execute brand programs such as private sales dinners tastings and brand experiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required MBA or marketing degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive account management experience with preference for on trade cruise lines or national accounts
- Background in wines and spirits with proven track record growing and developing business
- Strong negotiation business acumen budget management and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical organization and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30 percent primarily on cruise ships
