Curating Associate responsible for executing visual merchandising and supporting gallery operations for a luxury home furnishings gallery. Role focuses on elevating the client experience, maintaining visual integrity of the gallery, and partnering with leadership and corporate teams to drive sales and curated presentation.
Responsibilities
- Represent the brand with polished communication and professional appearance
- Coordinate and execute merchandise floor sets while upholding visual standards
- Train and mentor gallery team on floor sets, signage, maintenance and recovery
- Work with gallery leadership, curators and corporate partners to execute creative vision
- Read and audit planograms and visual maps and offer creative input
- Assist in maintaining inventory integrity and tracking replacements
- Drive team engagement, empowerment and accountability to achieve results
- Learn and communicate design ethos, product assortment and product care
Requirements
- 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or related field
- Excellent technical ability to use platforms to track inventory and request replacements
- Strategic, highly organized and results oriented with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and solve problems with cross functional partnerships
- Proficiency with Mac OS, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs and maneuver around gallery and stock room
