Summary
Curating Associate responsible for executing visual merchandising and gallery presentation to reflect refined luxury design taste, support gallery leadership and curators, and drive sales through elevated client experiences. This role requires a polished appearance, strong organization, and the ability to collaborate across teams while maintaining inventory and visual standards.
Responsibilities
- Represent the brand through polished communication and professional appearance.
- Work with gallery leadership, curators and corporate partners to execute creative vision and elevate client experience.
- Coordinate and execute merchandise floor sets while upholding visual integrity of the gallery.
- Train and mentor gallery team on floor sets, quality and visual standards, signage and graphics.
- Maintain gallery maintenance, recovery, cleanliness and assist with inventory integrity.
- Read and audit planograms and visual maps and provide creative input on company directives.
- Continuously drive results through team engagement, empowerment and accountability.
- Learn and communicate the design ethos, product assortment and product care.
Requirements
- 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or related field.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong technical ability to track inventory.
- Strategic, highly organized and results oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, be flexible and solve problems creatively across functions.
- Experience creating positive work environments and training or mentoring others.
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs and maneuver around gallery and stock areas.
