Summary
The Curating Associate supports the gallery's creative vision and client experience while helping drive sales. The role coordinates merchandise floor sets and maintains visual standards, inventory integrity, and gallery presentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute merchandise floor sets while upholding visual integrity.
- Train and mentor the gallery team on floor sets, quality standards, signage, maintenance, recovery, and cleanliness.
- Audit planograms and visual maps, and provide creative input on company directives.
- Assist with inventory integrity and communicate the brand's design ethos, product assortment, and product care.
- Partner with gallery leadership, curators, and corporate teams to elevate the client experience and drive sales.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or a related field.
- Strong technical ability to use platforms for inventory tracking and replacement requests.
- Strategic, organized, results-oriented, and attentive to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, flexibility, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Ability to lift items up to 30 pounds, move around the gallery and stockroom, and perform physical tasks including prolonged standing and climbing.
