Customer Service Representative - Westchester

Summary

Provide friendly, helpful service to customers in a Nordstrom store. Resolve customer concerns, support returns and order pickup, process transactions, and help new employees learn register procedures.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and own service interactions from start to finish.
• Resolve returns, exchanges, pickup inquiries, and other concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
• Process transactions and ticketing accurately using POS and store systems.
• Build positive relationships with customers and teammates, and promote loyalty programs and customer-facing services.
• Protect customer information and train new hires on POS and register procedures.

Requirements

• Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows, iOS, and Android.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move continuously during shifts, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Availability for varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
