Data Analyst 2 - Ordering And Inventory

Summary

The Data Analyst 2 will support Ordering and Inventory analytics within Strategic Programs, building and maintaining tools and reporting using Python, VBA, and SQL Server. This role partners with stakeholders across Merch Ops, Inbound Flow, Replenishment and Drop Ship to deliver insights and analytic solutions that inform strategy and operations. The position requires strong technical skills, curiosity, and the ability to communicate findings to varied audiences including executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting and analytics for Ordering and Inventory initiatives
• Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations
• Perform ad hoc and recurring analyses to answer complex business questions
• Maintain and enhance internal tools using Python and VBA
• Extract and manipulate large data sets from relational databases using SQL
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define problems, approaches, and success metrics
• Present results to stakeholders up to executive level and guide data driven decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
• 1+ years working with VBA macros Python and API data extraction
• 2+ years professional experience analyzing complex data and making recommendations
• 2+ years extracting and manipulating large data sets using SQL
• Proficiency with visualization and dashboard tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently on ambiguous projects
• Effective communication skills for technical and non technical audiences
