Summary
Seeking a creative and technically strong Data Analyst 2 to join the Stores Analytics team supporting store openings, real estate, store optimization and omni-channel initiatives. The role delivers end-to-end analyses, dashboards and storytelling to inform store strategy and partners with leadership, technology, strategy and finance on high-impact projects in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Partner with store openings and Real Estate teams to identify ideal store locations
- Optimize store experience using data and digital signals for an omni-channel approach
- Deliver end-to-end analyses that transform data into actionable insights
- Create and maintain automated dashboards and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders
- Present results and guide stakeholders to apply insights to business decisions
- Define success metrics and develop measurement frameworks with partners
- Manage competing priorities to focus on highest impact analytical work
- Apply advanced analytical and statistical practices to produce thorough insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of hands-on professional experience in data science and analytics
- 2+ years strong coding skills in a statistical or programming language such as R or Python
- Proficiency extracting large data sets using SQL from relational databases
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Plotly
- Fluency with descriptive and inferential statistics and experimental design concepts
- Experience managing large projects or workstreams as an analyst or data scientist
- Strong critical thinking storytelling and collaborative skills
