Summary
Senior Consumer Researcher responsible for leading end-to-end multi-method research initiatives to inform strategic decisions, partnering across analytics, strategy, and UX research. This role synthesizes qualitative and quantitative insights into compelling narratives, advises senior leaders, manages vendor relationships, and mentors junior researchers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end research programs addressing critical business questions.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects across methodologies and timelines.
- Shape and execute the research roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities.
- Translate ambiguous questions into strategic research plans and select appropriate methods.
- Synthesize multi-source data into clear, actionable recommendations and visual stories.
- Integrate insights from prior research, syndicated data, and benchmarks.
- Serve as strategic thought partner and advisor to senior leaders and cross functional teams.
- Mentor and support junior researchers to build capabilities and best practices.
- Champion innovation in research processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in consumer research, insights, or analytics.
- Proven experience managing complex multi-method research programs.
- Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research across the research lifecycle.
- Skilled in ethnographic and in the moment methods such as shop alongs and mobile diaries.
- Experience with modern DIY research platforms and analysis tools like Qualtrics, Excel, and Tableau.
- Experience managing customer panels or communities and engagement calendars.
- Proven experience leading vendor partnerships including RFPs and budget oversight.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in retail or consumer facing industries preferred.
