Summary
The Data Analyst 3 - Anaplan Model Builder designs, builds, and maintains NCoder’s Anaplan models for Nordstrom’s supply chain network volume planning. The role partners with Supply Chain planners, product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, well-governed models that support operational resource decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Anaplan modules, dashboards, calculation logic, model sequences, and dependencies.
- Translate volume-planning requirements into scalable model designs and troubleshoot data connections with DataHub.
- Optimize model performance and usability, and document model logic, data flows, and business rules.
- Partner with data engineering on BigQuery tables and Airflow pipeline issues, and train Supply Chain planners and downstream users.
- Use AI-assisted tools to support documentation, testing, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining Anaplan models; Anaplan Certified Model Builder Level 3 or equivalent preferred.
- Understanding of Anaplan architecture, including modules, lists, hierarchies, actions, dashboards, and hub-and-spoke model design.
- Experience with data integration or ETL, SQL, and tools such as BigQuery and Airflow.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical model designs and present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Supply chain domain experience preferred.
