Summary

The Department Manager supports the Store Manager in driving category performance and leading the sales team. The role focuses on achieving sales goals, coaching associates, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach sales associates to improve selling skills, achieve sales goals, and meet KPIs.
• Drive performance for the assigned category, including sell-through and team training.
• Manage customer flow and ensure customers receive attentive, high-quality service.
• Develop and retain employees through feedback, development plans, performance reviews, and onboarding.
• Partner with store leadership and training teams to reinforce service standards and deliver training.
• Resolve customer issues, support store operations, and assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Promote the in-store digital experience and communicate business needs and ideas.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
• Advanced knowledge of POS systems.
• Ability to handle complex customer service issues, including complaints, returns, repairs, and after-sales matters.
• Professional communication skills and experience using Apple mobile devices and digital tools.
