Summary

The Department Manager leads an assigned store department to deliver a memorable customer experience and achieve sales, profit, and operating goals. The role oversees staff performance, loss prevention, merchandising, and the execution of promotional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit performance and help establish sales, margin, and operating budget goals.
• Manage shrinkage goals and implement loss prevention procedures.
• Train, supervise, coach, and mentor employees to improve performance.
• Execute promotional strategies and visual directives while maintaining store presentation standards.
• Monitor competition and market trends and share merchandise and visual presentation feedback.

Requirements

• Retail management experience preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong business acumen and ability to guide teams toward goals through collaboration, motivation, and staff development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster an environment consistent with the brand's lifestyle philosophy.
