Men's Department Manager

Summary

The Men's Department Manager leads sales and profit performance for the assigned department while delivering a consistently memorable customer shopping experience. The role works with store leadership to achieve financial goals, develop staff, and maintain Ralph Lauren's brand and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department sales, profit, margin, and shrinkage goals.
• Partner with store leadership to set goals, develop operating budgets, and monitor performance.
• Train, supervise, coach, and mentor staff to maximize results.
• Execute promotional strategies and support sales, marketing, and profit objectives.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, and provide merchandise and visual presentation feedback.
• Execute visual directives and maintain compelling store environments and presentation standards.

Requirements

• Retail management experience preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to build an environment consistent with the brand's lifestyle philosophy.
• Ability to guide individuals toward goals through teamwork, motivation, negotiation, and staff development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
