Summary
The Department Manager Rive Droite will oversee sales, team performance, and department operations within the boutique reporting to the Store Director. This role drives sales through coaching, development, and enforcement of company standards while ensuring visual and operational excellence. The manager partners with store leadership and corporate teams to align on initiatives and supports escalated client issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage the salesfloor and provide consistent presence to deliver exceptional client experience.
- Open and close boutique and point of sale following operational and loss prevention guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategic action plans to maximize department sales and client engagement.
- Drive department sales goals and KPIs through coaching to company standards.
- Analyze sales reports daily weekly and monthly to track performance.
- Maintain product knowledge and communicate stock availability and technical changes to the team.
- Manage communication with Buying team regarding trends client requests and product feedback.
- Ensure department visual standards and partner with operations on inventory cycle counts and shrink control.
- Uphold operational guidelines to ensure compliance and support successful store audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years retail experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a retail management capacity.
- Experience managing a team of five or more.
- Ability to maintain calm under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead sales teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
