Assistant Manager - Beverly Hills

Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the Managing Director and Floor Director in operating the Beverly Hills boutique, driving sales, client development, and exceptional service in a fast-paced luxury environment. This role provides daily supervision, coaching, and performance management of the sales team and steps in for senior leaders as needed. The Assistant Manager also oversees inventory, scheduling, CRM compliance, and contributes to meeting sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, train, and assist sales staff to achieve sales objectives and model exceptional client service.
• Maintain active management presence on the sales floor and ensure team adherence to company standards and policies.
• Identify sales opportunities by reviewing business by métier, tracking deliveries and special orders, and aligning associate goals with boutique targets.
• Conduct touch-base meetings and performance evaluations with Managing Director/Floor Director; assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates.
• Manage CRM standards, monitor scheduling and timekeeping (E-time), and maintain accurate records of vacation and attendance.
• Make critical client and operational decisions and run the business in the absence of senior leadership; own sales goals, profitability, and inventory levels.

Requirements

• 4+ years of retail management experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Cegid, E-time, and ability to learn POS and payroll systems.
• Ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into business recommendations; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 0-25 lbs and flexible availability to meet business needs.
