Design Assistant - Polo Womens Sweaters

Summary

Assistant Designer for Polo Women's Sweaters supporting line completion and stock production. Works on tech packs, sketches, research, and coordinates with senior designers and production partners. Hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office and flexibility for cross functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Research inspiration including silhouettes, patterns, textures, trims
• Input tech pack information into PLM and other programs including images and detail pages
• Create sketches and detailed sketches for designs
• Maintain and update XD boards and archive research
• Grade layouts and build trim library
• Support general office organization and production communication
• Collaborate with senior designer and international production partners

Requirements

• Proficiency in Photoshop Illustrator and XD
• Experience with yarn knitting and garment construction
• Proficient in PLM
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word Power Point Outlook and enterprise tools
• Strong problem solving and prioritization skills
• Excellent cross cultural and cross functional communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and take initiative
• Minimum of three days a week on site
