Designated Selling Associate - Valley Fair

Summary

The Designated Selling Associate represents Birkenstock while driving sales and delivering personalized customer service. This role builds customer relationships, shares product and fashion knowledge, and supports merchandising and department readiness. The schedule varies by week based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, reservations, and appointment-based selling.
• Build customer relationships and provide confident guidance on style, fit, and product value.
• Educate customers and colleagues on brand trends and product knowledge.
• Keep the department customer-ready through stocking, remerchandising, displays, markdowns, merchandise transfers, and cleaning.
• Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and sharing product feedback with the department manager.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and understand sales reporting in relation to goals.
• Strong fashion, product, and customer wardrobe knowledge, with the ability to recommend products and follow up strategically.
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift, handle merchandise, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
