Summary
Lead the creation and delivery of bespoke interior design projects for luxury residential clients, guiding projects from consultation through installation while representing the brand with refined taste and technical expertise. Collaborate with RH Interior Design, vendors and external partners to develop presentations, space plans and comprehensive product selections. Provide elevated client service and maintain industry presence locally and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead creation of brand appropriate presentations and clearly communicate design concepts
- Oversee accuracy of space planning and comprehensive product selections
- Manage multiple phases of design including consultations, site visits, development, presentations and installations
- Qualify and educate potential clients on interior design services
- Provide product expertise for furnishings, hard surfaces and construction documentation
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors to source materials and products
- Build and foster strong vendor relationships and remain active in the local design community
- Deliver a luxury experience for clientele through RH Interior Design services
Requirements
- Degree in art, architecture or interior design or equivalent experience
- NCIDQ certification preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp and other space planning programs required
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications required
- Experience in a design or architecture firm or high end furniture and luxury retail preferred
- Strong artistic skills including hand rendering preferred
- Hands on interior installation experience preferred
- Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
