Designer - Polo World Of Sports

Summary

Versatile Designer responsible for creating men's performance knitwear for Polo World Of Sports, developing seasonal concepts, CADs, logos and prints while collaborating with cross functional and global partners. Role requires regular on-site presence with a fixed workspace and periodic hybrid flexibility. The designer will ensure alignment with brand identity, product fit and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research including competitive shopping and trend analysis
• Create CADs including line sheets, flats, artwork layouts, trims and stats
• Design and present seasonal concept CADs to senior management
• Develop logos for print, embroidery, patches and areas of emphasis
• Partner with print team to develop seasonal concept prints
• Communicate daily with overseas partners and vendors via product development channels
• Collaborate closely with merchandising for design, color, cost and market adoption
• Partner with product development to ensure tech packs are accurate
• Attend fittings to maintain design aesthetic and fit

Requirements

• Degree in fashion design or a related subject preferred
• Industry experience within knitwear is a plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and presentation tools
• Experience with PLM systems and Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word
• Excellent organization multitasking and clear communication skills
• Self motivated with strong initiative
• Knowledge of 3D Browzwear is a plus
