Summary
Lead and execute merchandising strategy across all Women's categories (bags, slgs, shoes, jewelry and eyewear) for the Americas, aligning regional needs with global brand direction to drive sales and profitability. Coordinate assortment, budgeting, forecasting and in-season replenishment while partnering with planning, supply chain, retail and HQ stakeholders. Act as the regional voice for Women's merchandising, support stores through training and visits, and travel for seasonal buy campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute assortment and category strategies across Women's product lines to meet financial and market objectives.
- Build departmental budgets, by-store plans and receipts by door in partnership with Planning and evaluate store performance.
- Prepare weekly and ad hoc reporting, sales and stock analysis, and action plans to maximize sell through and inventory efficiency.
- Secure in-season replenishment via accurate forecasting and collaboration with Demand Planning, Logistics and HQ.
- Lead product trainings and go-to-market activities with Retail Excellence and HQ teams; support visual merchandising for launches, floor sets and windows.
- Travel to seasonal buy campaigns and regularly visit key markets and stores to gather feedback and ensure execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years at Manager level with retail buying experience in a luxury multi-store environment.
- Proven experience managing direct reports and developing high-performing teams; Women's RTW experience required; Shoes and accessories preferred.
- Advanced analytical and retail math skills with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Board, Power BI, Anaplan, SAP and Business Objects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and travel internationally several times per year.
