Lead the Rug merchandising category to create consumer relevant luxury collections that meet financial targets and elevate brand equity. Shape product strategy across channels, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while partnering with cross functional teams and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Set goals for cross functional teams and manage calendars to meet critical milestones
- Develop and execute short and long term strategies to drive sales and margin growth
- Lead brand strategy across channels with Visual Merchandising Creative Brand Marketing and Web Merchandising
- Leverage consumer insights and market trends to inform product strategy and new product development
- Define and manage product assortment strategies to achieve sales and margin objectives
- Present key initiatives to senior leadership for alignment
- Oversee financial forecasting and lead regular performance reviews to identify risks
- Ensure product and pricing execution and partner with vendors for timely receipts and quality
Requirements
- 10+ years of merchandising experience with senior level product strategy and financial management
- Experience in luxury home furnishings textiles or related lifestyle categories; rugs preferred
- Proven ability to identify trends and translate them into commercially successful offerings
- Strong business acumen with ability to interpret financial sales and consumer insight data
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder alignment skills
- Highly organized detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills overseeing product development
- Proficiency in merchandising systems data analysis tools Power BI Microsoft Office Google Suite and Adobe InDesign
