Job Description

Summary

The Director of Pop-Up Production is accountable for the planning, design review, production, installation, and removal of all pop-up retail spaces across the Americas. This role manages project timing, budgets, vendor coordination, and ensures layouts comply with building codes and lease requirements. The position is executive-facing and requires strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design solutions in partnership with headquarters and local visual merchandising teams.
  • Coordinate retail requirements with IS&T, Asset Protection, Retail Operations, and local VM.
  • Manage and review shop drawings to ensure front- and back-of-house code compliance.
  • Oversee project timing, budget management, quality control, installation, and removal of pop-ups.
  • Negotiate with and bid projects to multiple suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Coordinate with landlords and mall partners for external space and lease compliance.
  • Prepare project reporting and communicate updates to retail, operations, finance, and VM stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural design, store planning, or a related field; degree in Architectural Design or equivalent.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to accurately read and verify shop drawings.
  • Proven vendor management and negotiation skills with experience coordinating multiple suppliers.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for budget management and financial oversight.
  • Knowledge of building codes, real estate lease requirements, and construction compliance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and comfort engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
