Summary
Senior product leader responsible for defining vision and executing the roadmap for Integrated Merchandising Planning and Selection capabilities. Oversees multiple product teams to modernize the connected planning platform, streamline merchant workflows, and deliver AI powered forecasting and assortment solutions. Partners with Engineering, Merchandising, Data Science, and other domains to drive adoption and deprecation of legacy systems while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define long term product vision and roadmap for Planning and Selection capabilities
- Lead multiple product teams across Merchandise Financial Planning Assortment Planning Selection and Item Quantification
- Prioritize product backlog balancing short term business needs with long term capability development
- Drive adoption of data driven market shopping lists breadth and depth planning and intent capture
- Partner with Engineering to ensure timely high quality delivery
- Collaborate with Merchandising Data Science and Analytics to develop forecasting and optimization models
- Oversee deprecation strategy for legacy systems as capabilities migrate
- Build coach and inspire a high performing product management organization
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in product management or equivalent with 5+ years management experience
- Background in retail technology or ecommerce preferred
- Proven track record building and launching scalable products that enable merchant operational efficiency
- Technical understanding of software development system integration and data quality management
- Experience with forecasting demand signals assortment optimization and AI driven recommendations
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder influencing skills including executive engagement
- Experience driving transformation from manual legacy processes to modern automated capabilities
