Distribution Center Associate - Receiving

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, putting away, and shipping products while meeting safety, security, and productivity standards. The role supports efficient inventory flow and careful handling of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize pallets by vendor to ensure accurate purchase order receipts.
• Stage and load outbound trailers according to shipping best practices.
• Ensure products are stored, put away, picked, and shipped accurately without damage.
• Meet individual, team, and departmental productivity goals while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
• Follow applicable federal, state, and local laws and workplace safety practices.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of distribution experience.
• Basic mathematics and reading skills, with a strong understanding of inventory flow.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to consistently lift at least 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
