Distribution Clerk

As a Distribution Clerk, you will be responsible for performing general warehouse activities including picking, packing, and shipping in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient distribution of high-quality vision care products.

• Receive incoming merchandise and products.
• Process merchandise according to established procedures.
• Stock merchandise in the appropriate locations.
• Pick merchandise according to procedures and replenishment schedules.
• Prepare merchandise for inventory accuracy and shipment.
• Complete projects as assigned by the Distribution Center Supervisor or Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of distribution experience.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude and numerical recognition.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested.
• Ability to communicate and cooperate with distribution center associates.
• Ability to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing or walking position for up to 10 hours.
• Professional interaction with both corporate and non-corporate personnel.
• Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse preferred.
• Optical knowledge or experience in a production environment is a plus.
