East Coast Visual Merchandising Director

Summary

Lead and maintain the brand visual merchandising strategy for East Coast retail and wholesale locations from the New York corporate office. Oversee execution of global merchandising directives, window programs, visual reporting and support new store openings and special events while managing budgets and a regional visual team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain brand image across East Coast retail and wholesale doors.
• Facilitate and execute global merchandising directives and guidelines for stores.
• Communicate merchandising and window information to all store locations.
• Manage and support East Coast Visual Managers including rotations and schedules.
• Compile monthly visual reports for flagship locations.
• Support new store openings and special events including Alta Moda.
• Oversee and approve visual budgets including travel and shipping logistics.

Requirements

• 8 years of visual merchandising experience in corporate and multi unit retail settings.
• High school degree or equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and related software.
• Ability to understand customer trends and formulate business strategy.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams through direct or indirect reporting.
• Strong communication influencing and presentation skills.
• Passion for luxury and accessories with entrepreneurial sensibility.
