Engineering Technician

As an Engineering Technician at EssilorLuxottica in Dallas, TX, you will be responsible for the deployment and support of Essilor Luxottica Digital Products. You will oversee project deployment, including the installation and setup of production and process control equipment, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Your role will involve providing technical support and continuous process improvement to labs producing Essilor Luxottica Digital products.

• Install, set up, and validate DS equipment and related support equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and processes at DS Labs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, calibrate, and repair electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment issues.
• Analyze lens production quality and guide process adjustments.
• Train lab employees in technical responsibilities and tasks.
• Coordinate equipment/product validations at new installations.
• Provide 2nd level call support for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform machine, process, and quality audits continuously.
• Maintain accurate records and issue timely reports on operations.
• Communicate progress, status, and issues to management.

• Bachelor's Degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Wholesale Lab processing with lens surfacing aptitude.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic and mechanical equipment.
