Responsibilities- Ensure prompt and regular attendance, with availability for overtime as needed.
- Communicate effectively with lab management to understand and address lab issues.
- Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with customers, co-workers, management, and sales teams.
- Advise customers or seek assistance on problem jobs as needed.
- Make necessary job changes to expedite orders in the production process.
- Handle additional duties as delegated by the manager.
- Identify and expedite trays to the next department to continue production.
- Review and act on delayed orders in the Ticket queue.
- Monitor delayed job workflow at outsource/offsite areas.
- Communicate breakage to Customer Service through the Ticket/Case process.
- Investigate complaints using the "Complaint Management" tool and follow up with accounts.
- Maintain an organized and clean working area.
- Exhibit professional behavior, maintaining respect and courtesy at all times.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing lab setting.
- Ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment.
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Optical and Opti-facts is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
