Eyewear Designer

Summary

The Eyewear Designer supports end-to-end design and development of eyewear products from concept through production. This New Orleans-based role researches trends and consumer insights, develops seasonal concepts, and coordinates cross-functional input to bring products to completion.

Responsibilities

• Research trends, colors, materials, and consumer insights to identify product opportunities.
• Develop seasonal color palettes, product concepts, design briefs, sketches, renderings, specifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product Development, Sourcing, and vendors to refine designs and resolve production challenges.
• Maintain product documentation, samples, and development timelines, and support a scalable design process.

Requirements

• Eyewear design and development experience through education, internship, or professional work.
• Strong organization, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a high-performance environment.
• Comfort trying on frames and documenting fit through product modeling.
• Ability to travel to New York City approximately four times per year.
