Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager at the House of Dior, Beverly Hills location to manage and maintain our high-end retail boutique's facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that our indoor environment is safe, efficient, and meets the luxury standards of our brand and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, alterations equipment, audio/video, and lighting.
  • Oversee the housekeeping contract and CAM responsibilities.
  • Coordinate in-house setup and breakdown for events in collaboration with corporate.
  • Oversee indoor landscaping, ensuring plant health and aesthetics.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and customers.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and service.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in budget management for maintenance and repair operations.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in building engineering or facilities maintenance, preferably in a luxury retail or hospitality environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime.
  • Must be available for on-call emergencies and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management systems.
  • Knowledge of landscaping maintenance and care.
  • Certifications preferred but not mandatory: Universal EPA Certification, OSHA 30-hour Safety Training, Building Operator Certification (BOC) or equivalent, HVAC Technician Certification, Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) preferred.
