Facilities Tech 2 - West Coast Omni Center

Summary

The Facilities Tech 2 executes preventative maintenance and repairs for building and material handling systems. The role troubleshoots equipment and supports the Operations team with maintenance solutions, projects, and department goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair material handling systems, conveyors, electrical controls, and related equipment.
• Operate equipment and tools safely to perform system support tasks.
• Lead preventative maintenance procedures and assist with technician training.
• Create and close work orders, recording labor hours, maintenance, and parts used.
• Collaborate with departments across the facility.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with conveyors, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of material handling equipment operation and repair, and power, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic controls systems and PLC knowledge preferred; robotics knowledge preferred.
