Finance Data Model Specialist

As a Finance Data Model Specialist, you will play a crucial role in establishing and executing strategies and programs in Finance and Accounting at Nordstrom. You will be instrumental in the implementation and ongoing support of the company’s new Oracle ERP and EPM environments, collaborating with partners across Finance, Product, and Technology to sustain, improve, and streamline data requirements and governance.

• Lead and support the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM platforms with a focus on data requirements, governance, and management.
• Provide expertise in configuring and governing Oracle Cloud Enterprise Data Management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for finance data-related issues and provide troubleshooting and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful establishment, governance, and adoption of financial data.
• Lead and participate in system testing and end-user training.
• Stay up to date on Oracle Cloud Financials functionality and updates.
• Provide technical/functional support to business development sales pursuits.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of Master Data across finance.

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial and administrative direction for complex systems.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Proficient in Python and highly skilled in SQL.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform including Looker.
• Excellent communication skills and project management abilities.
