SummaryAs a Finance Data Model Specialist, you will play a crucial role in establishing and executing strategies and programs in Finance and Accounting. You will be instrumental in the implementation and ongoing support of Nordstrom's new Oracle ERP and EPM environments, collaborating with partners across Finance, Product, and Technology to sustain, improve, and streamline data requirements and governance.
Responsibilities- Lead and support the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM platforms with a focus on data requirements, governance, and management.
- Provide expertise in configuring and governing Oracle Cloud Enterprise Data Management to meet business requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for finance data-related issues and provide troubleshooting and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful establishment, governance, and adoption of financial data.
- Lead and participate in system testing and end-user training.
- Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
- Stay up to date on Oracle Cloud Financials functionality and updates.
- Provide technical/functional support to business development sales pursuits.
- Perform activities to source, govern, protect, and enhance data as an organizational asset.
- Update and maintain data sourcing, cleansing, and entry tools.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of Master Data across finance.
- Provide root-cause insights of data quality issues and develop solutions.
Requirements- An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in providing managerial and administrative direction for complex systems.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and implementing or migrating to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Oracle Cloud SaaS certifications preferred.
- Functional professional with 1+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS implementation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Python and highly skilled in SQL, including experience with extracting large datasets and optimizing complex queries.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform including Looker.
- Excellent communication skills and capable of leading initiatives across multiple product areas.
- Experience in leading key technical projects with strong project management skills.
