SummaryAs a Finance Manager in Technology, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial planning, long-range planning, and close processes for the Technology/Engineering and Product Management P&Ls. This hybrid role requires you to work three days a week in the downtown Seattle office, collaborating closely with senior leaders to drive consistency and early forecasts.
Responsibilities- Project manage complex business rhythms across senior company leaders, balancing FP&A, Accounting, and Technology expectations.
- Develop close partnerships with senior product and technology leaders to address ad-hoc requests and meet internal finance expectations.
- Contribute to monthly business reviews and E2E close reporting.
- Drive financial forecast processes, including labor and non-labor updates and ad-hoc analyses.
- Own centralized reporting strategy and consolidation efforts across disparate systems.
- Ensure quality assurance of reporting outputs and consistency across Tech Finance assets.
- Create executive leadership materials for board level and c-suite presentations.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects to support FP&A and finance leadership.
Requirements- 5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in retail and large organizations.
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance.
- Ability to manage priorities and timelines effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills with peers and senior leadership.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle-Essbase, Anaplan, Tableau, and/or SQL is a plus.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate findings clearly in written, verbal, and presentation forms.
