Summary
The Financial Analyst will support Saint Laurent Americas in financial reporting, planning, forecasting and performance analysis across multiple countries in the Americas. The role partners closely with senior finance leadership, cross-functional business partners and the centralized accounting team to support monthly closings, budgeting and long-term financial planning. The analyst will prepare and present financial reports and insights to inform business decisions and executive reviews.
Responsibilities
- Support financial reporting and analysis for the Americas region, including USA, Canada, Mexico and other markets.
- Maintain and enhance forecasting and budgeting models for sales, margin, Opex, Capex, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Participate in the monthly close process and collaborate with Shared Services Accounting to analyze variances versus budget/forecast.
- Prepare monthly P&L, management expense reporting, Capex and cash flow analyses and ad hoc financial reports.
- Compile and report sales (daily, weekly, monthly and YTD) across sales channels as needed and contribute to Monthly Business Review presentations for executive teams.
- Support ad hoc analyses and special projects for finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar finance or reporting role; retail experience preferred.
- Strong technical skills: Excel, Access, PowerPoint; experience with PowerBI, Anaplan and Rubis helpful; SAP experience a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and ability to prepare clear written reports and presentations.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and work extended hours during peak periods when required.
- Position based in New Jersey with days in the New York office as needed.
